KELS remains committed to providing an academically rigorous education to students who will walk out of school ready for lives of leadership and service to their community.

We strive to be committed to the students we are privileged to serve, in our alumni association, our dedicated, talented faculty and staff. We also take pride in having the most active and helpful group of partners, visionary parents, well-wishers, alumni and friends.

ELS  online meeting and teaching system uses our own online teaching platform built into our website. Students can see each other and the teachers and the result is a completely interactive experience.

Why Do I Need A Tutored Course?

1. Lack of Human Feedback ✅

Free lessons, especially self-study resources (apps, YouTube videos, PDFs), don’t provide:

  • Correction on mistakes (grammar, pronunciation, writing, etc.)

  • Personalised guidance (e.g., “Why is this wrong, but that correct?”)

  • Speaking practice with a real person

Students eventually hit a learning plateau and realise they need a teacher’s guidance to progress.

2. Structure & Progress Tracking

  • Free lessons often lack a clear learning path.

  • Students don’t know what to study next or how to measure progress.

  • Paid courses offer lesson plans, level tests, and structured curriculums.

3. Motivation & Accountability

  • When students pay, they commit more (because they have “skin in the game”).

  • Free learning often leads to inconsistency—watching a few videos, then stopping.

  • A teacher provides discipline & encouragement, which keeps them engaged.

4. Speaking & Interaction Are Essential

  • Most students need real conversation practice—not just passive learning.

  • Free lessons rarely provide live interaction, which is crucial for fluency.

  • Paid lessons include 1-on-1 speaking or group discussions.

5. Customisation

  • Free resources are one-size-fits-all and can’t adapt to individual needs.

  • A teacher can tailor lessons to a student’s weaknesses (e.g., pronunciation, writing, business English)

Lack of human feedback is one of the biggest reasons students seek paid lessons. But it’s also about structure, motivation, speaking practice, and customisation. Free resources are great for beginners, but serious learners eventually realize they need a teacher’s guidance to truly improve
